“I am passionate about life, my family, friends, God, faith, creating, designing, health, helping others, and my cats:)”- Annette Roxie

Annette is a small town girl from Kansas born to two amazing parents who came from Cuba many years back ( See behind the name). Since a young age Annette loved to draw and sketch wedding gowns. The years passed and Annette found herself pursuing her passion for helping others at Southern Adventist University. She finished her BSN in Nursing  began her nursing career in 2005.  She became engaged to Jared during that time, and so began the search for the perfect wedding gown.

After trying on many gowns and not finding “the one”, she decided to make reality her childhood dream of designing her own wedding gown, and that she did. Annette and Jared got married on September 3,  2006 in Atlanta, Ga ( See pictures)

A few years passed and Annette’s passion for design and weddings continued to grow. She launched the brand Chaviano Couture in May of 2009 in Atlanta, Ga. Offering brides the opportunity of having their own custom gown was the focus. With special attention to detail and all gowns and veils made by hand, Chaviano Couture was founded on the belief that ” A wedding gown should not just be worn, it should be experienced”

In 2010 Chaviano Couture expanded beyond custom gowns by  launching it’s first  collection which debuted on the NYC Bridal Market runway in October 2010, and received much praise from the wedding community. ( See video)

In 2011 Annette continued to promote the new collection as well as work with brides from Atlanta to Switzerland. Time was also spent in creating and planning the new 2012 collection.

The new Chaviano Couture collection for 2012 is titled ” How Fair is Your Love”. The inspiration came from all things feminine and romantic. Lace, tulle, chiffon, and organza bring an air of whimsy and romance, while details like pockets, & separates, add practicality and comfort. 2012 also brings the launch of an Accessories and Headpiece collection which will give  brides the opportunity to have all they need to complete their look on their big day.

Annette’s passion for helping others continues. 20% of the profits from all gowns go to different charities and projects around the world. The hope is to not only create beautiful gowns, but make a difference in other’s lives as well. ( see the cause)

Annette lives in Atlanta, Ga with her hubby Jared and their two cats, Rambo & Havana.
